Eyelid Surgery Overview
Upper Eyelid surgery is performed through an incision hidden within the crease of the upper eyelid. Working through this incision, Dr. Levine will remove excess soft tissue as needed. This will create an improved upper eyelid contour. The incision for Lower Eyelid surgery is hidden inside the lower eyelid or just below the lash line. Through this incision, Dr. Levine will redistribute fatty deposits and address the lower lid contour. Dr. Levine has his patients see an ophthalmologist to assess overall eye health prior to performing eyelid surgery.
What to Expect After Eyelid Surgery
When you wake up your eyes may be lubricated with ointment.Most people return to work in 1-2 weeks.
