Volumizing one’s face with fat restores the youthful, cherubic appearance. Fat grafting helps rejuvenate many areas of the face including the temple, cheeks (malar), nasolabial folds, marionette lines and other areas of facial contour irregularities. Facial fat loss occurs in the aging face. Transferring fat from an area of the body where it's plentiful, and using it to correct facial defects, is a fabulous way to add volume to your face

Your Personal Consultation
During your personal consultation with either Dr. Levine you will discuss your concerns and goals and learn how the process of Fat Grafting works. During this appointment, your treatment plan will be tailored to address your concerns and create realistic expectations.
Facial Fat Grafting Procedure
Dr. Levine will anesthetize the donor site in preparation for harvesting the fat. This will minimize bruising and bleeding. Using a cannula attached to a syringe, the fat is extracted through a small incision at the donor site. After the fat has been purified and is ready for placement, it will be carefully and precisely injected into the sites requiring augmentation or correction. These areas have also been prepared for the injections with tiny incisions.
What to Expect After Your Surgery
Patients experience mild to moderate post-operative pain and swelling. Most patients return to work in 1-2 weeks.
